New Michigan Media

New Michigan Media, NMM, is a network of ethnic and minority media in the State of Michigan who first came together in 2006 under the direction of Professor Hayg Oshagan, director of NMM, at Wayne State University's Department of Communication. The NMM network works to represent the 100+ ethnic and minority media outlets in Michigan, which represent hundreds of thousands of readers, viewers and listeners in the Michigan media market.

Hope of Detroit Academy 8th Grade Graduation

On Tuesday June 10, 2008 the Hope of Detroit Academy held their 8th graduation at the Community Arts Auditorium on the campus of Wayne State University. Hope of Detroit Academy is a K-8 charter school in Southwest Detroit that has continually met Annual Yearly Progress for six straight years. The school is chartered by Ferris State University and managed by Leona Group.
